Uniform, Light Surface
The Sylvasquash surface of 22mm solid Beech has a completely uniform, light colour with a matt finish that makes it easy to follow a ball in play.

Resilience and Appropriate Friction
The Sylvasquash System provides a superbly controlled ball bounce as well as perfect comfort underfoot. Sylvasquash floors for normal play have a slightly roughened surface sealed with a coat of hardwearing polyurethane lacquer providing a firm footing and easy maintenance. A special Sylvasquash floor for courts used at championship events has an untreated surface offering optimum conditions for the professional player. Being solid hardwood throughout, Sylvasquash does not provoke allergic reactions or electrostatic charging.

Resilience and Appropriate Friction
Junckers Sylvasquash is manufactured from light, solid beech of the prime grade, each board measuring 22mm x 129mm x 3700mm. The boards are prefinished - slightly roughened and lacquered for normal play or untreated for championship events - and a re tounge and grooved on all sides for easy installation. Each board adds 0.5 sq.m. to the finished floor.

Cleaning and Maintenance
The lacquered Sylvasquash floor is maintained by sweeping or vacuuming supplemented by an occasional wipe over with a mild solution of Junckers specially formulated SYLVAfresh cleaner on a damp cloth. Dark scuff makrs can be removed by white spirit. The untreated Sylvasquash floor is sweot or vacuumed. Do not use water or other fluids for cleaning. instead, a light sanding longitudinal to the fibres of the wood will remove grease, stains, dark scuff marks etc. and bring the surface back to its original state. Spot repair is possible: Each stave or board can be replaced individually.

Junckers Sylvasquash flooring systems are approved according to stringent international standards for area elastic sports floors. Overall controled resistance is obtained by a sub-construction of battens mounted with special shock absorbing foam.
